Do Now—Exercise 6C: In the “Uruk” column write down the names of the four kings of Uruk we’ve studied so far, beginning with Meshkiaggasher and ending with Gilgamesh. In the “Kish” column write down the names of five kings of Kish, in order, ending with Gilgamesh. Answers:

URUK: Meskiaggasher, Enmarkar, Lugalbanda, Gilgamesh

KISH: Enmebaraggesi, Agga, Mesannepadda, Meskiagunna, Gilgamesh

Exercise 6D:

Summarize your assigned section of the Epic. With your group, select a passage from your section to share with the class when you present your table’s summary. Highlight your group’s selected passage in your copy of the text and put a star ✭ next to it.

HW:

Spend twenty minutes working on your presentations. Use Exercise 6D as a "springboard" for your group presentation. Keep the main goal of this project in mind: you are teaching the class about your tablet (or section) of the Epic of Gilgamesh.
