FIRST: Review Ch. 19 and write Your answer on your own SECOND: Write down the Model answer verbatim when it is provided Model answer: A nome was a territory in ancient Egypt governed by a “nomarch.” (Watch your spelling: it’s “nomarch,” not “monarch”!)
